The computer centre performs the following functions:
1. It conducts various courses like Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA), Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA), Diploma in Graphic Designing and other short-term courses.
2. Apart from the above courses, the centre conduct short term course in Reasoning and Mathematical aptitude for students appearing for various competitive examinations
3. Students of the centre developed the following software as part of their curriculum:
· UG Admission Program (restructured)
· Automation of tutorial card system.
4. It offers supporting services to various academic programmes listed below.

d) B.Sc Mathematics
e) M.Sc Chemistry
f) MA Economics
g) BA Hindi / History
5. The centre conducted awareness classes and training sessions for office and library staff..
6. Conducted lectures and extended lab assistance to students to improve their skills in computer enabling them to improve their results in the university examinations.
7. The centre asssisted several research scholars in computerised data analysis for their PhD thesis.
