Support

Ours is one of the oldest institutions in Kerala which has been imparting quality education to generations to students since 1877.  we have grown and evolved over the years, all the while preserving our tradition and culture.  We have an xxx list of Alumni who have contributed significantly to the development of the society and community.  To help us keep pace with the changing trends in education, we need the support of all our well-wishers and alumni.  Here is an opportunity to join us in our march towards excellence and make this an institution you can be proud of.

Our institution has a large number of students from socially and economically disadvantaged sectors of society.   Quite a few of our students academically brilliant.  Recently one of our student topped the University in B.Sc. Physics.

We have identified 4 areas where we could do with financial support.

1. Disadvantaged Support System (DSS)

a)      Support the complete educational expenses economically disadvantaged students

b)      Provide books for needy students

c)      Sponsor prizes / scholarships or freeship for academic proficiency

1. Student Teaching Assistantship (STA)

Our academically competent students need to be motivated to pur forward them best.  Student  Teaching Assistantship aims at providing stipend to selected PG students who will tutor for slow learners among undergraduates of a PG department.  They would also guide under-gradates in their projects, lab work or seminar presentation.

An amount of Rs.2000 per year for two years (2000 x 2 = 4000 for a student) is the stipend that has been decided for STA
