Hindi Fortnight Celebrations (Hindi Diwas)

The Department of Hindi celebrated Hindi Fortnight from 15 September to 19 September 2025 in connection with Hindi Diwas, with the objective of promoting the importance of the Hindi language and encouraging students to showcase their creativity and linguistic talents.
The celebrations featured a variety of competitions and activities:
15 September 2025: A Hindi Story Writing Competition was conducted in Room No. 87 at 11:30 AM. Students actively participated and demonstrated their creative writing abilities in Hindi.
16 September 2025: A lively Bollywood Song Singing Competition was held in the College Auditorium at 2:30 PM. Students enthusiastically performed popular Hindi songs, creating a vibrant and entertaining atmosphere.
17 September 2025: A Hindi Poetry Writing Competition took place in Room No. 89 at 1:30 PM, where students expressed their thoughts and emotions through meaningful and imaginative poetry.
18 September 2025: A Collage Making and Slogan Writing Competition was organized on the theme “Hindi ka Vartaman”. Students presented creative collages and powerful slogans reflecting the contemporary relevance and significance of the Hindi language.
The celebrations concluded on 19 September 2025 with an online webinar conducted via Google Meet. The resource person was Sri Ramesh O, Chief Manager at Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited, Ernakulam. He delivered an enlightening talk on the topic “Hindi mein Rozgar ki Sambhavanayein” (Employment Opportunities in Hindi). His session provided valuable insights into career prospects related to Hindi and inspired students to explore opportunities in language-based professions.
