The Association Inauguration of the Department of Hindi was held on 28 January 2026 (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM in the Seminar Hall of The Zamorin’s Guruvayurappan College. The program marked the formal commencement of the Hindi Association’s activities for the academic year and aimed to encourage students to actively participate in literary and cultural initiatives.

The function was inaugurated by Dr. Shibi C, Assistant Professor in the Department of Hindi, University of Calicut. In his inspiring inaugural address, he emphasized the growing relevance of Hindi language and literature in contemporary society. He also encouraged students to develop their linguistic abilities and actively engage in the academic and cultural programs organized by the Hindi Association.

The event served as a platform to promote enthusiasm for Hindi language learning and to strengthen students’ interest in literary and cultural activities.
