Activities

The History Association of the Department of History was inaugurated on 15 January 2026 at the Research Centre Auditorium. The programme was inaugurated by Dr M. P. Mujeeb Rehman, Professor, Department of History, University of Calicut, who also delivered a keynote lecture titled "Writing Local History from a Global City."  A documentary presentation was also featured as part of the inaugural programme, adding to the significance of the event.
