The Department of Physics at Zamorin's Guruvayurappan College successfully conducted the Physics Day and Association Inauguration for the academic year 2025-26. The event served as a platform to officially launch the departmental association's activities and foster scientific curiosity among students. The program was officially inaugurated by Professor Manoob V. Janaki from the Department of Physics, SN College, Kannur. Following the formal inauguration, Professor Janaki delivered an engaging keynote session on the topic "Cosmic Calendar." The session focused on the chronological scale of the universe, condensing the 13.8-billion-year history of the cosmos into a single calendar year.
